Nose
Bound
Scent & hike enrichment days. Pickup and drop-off. Marin County.
Physical movement + progressive nose work.
The nose is the mind.
Most dogs need far more than a walk. Their noses detect scents at concentrations nearly 100,000 times lower than humans. When that ability is put to work, it creates deep mental fatigue that pure physical exercise rarely matches.
A dog who only runs still has restless energy. A dog who also searches, solves, and follows scent returns home quieter and more settled. NoseBound pairs a real trail with structured scent work so both the body and the mind are fully engaged.
Two ways to work.
Both options include door-to-door pickup and drop-off in Marin County, a solid hike, free environmental sniffing, and a post-hike check for ticks, foxtails, and burrs.

How the Scent & Hike day unfolds
Dogs are picked up and taken to a carefully chosen Marin trail. The day begins with movement, novel environments, and natural sniffing. Along the way we introduce or continue scent-work foundations: pairing odor, building drive, and teaching the dog that searching is rewarding.
As dogs progress, they work real pre-hides set on the trail before arrival. The hides are flagged so the search area is clear, and video is recorded so you can watch the work. Physical hiking and progressive nose work together create thorough mental and physical stimulation.
